If you're travelling through a lot of different states, or even different cities, you may notice that the television channels change in each one.

If you're trying to relax from a long day of driving, or a long day of walking around interesting sites, the last thing you want to do is surf through the channels trying to find your favorite show, while having no idea what channel number it's on.

Many chains will have the channel lineup on a stand-up card on the nightstand. If they don't have one there, take a look in the guest-book, there should be one in there.

If that fails, go to the desk and ask the clerk if they have a TV channel listing. They probably will be able to give you one.
