Before you go on your trip, check out what the weather will be like at your destination. You can easily check this online.

This will determine what you need to bring and what you can leave at home. Find out if it's the rainy season in the place you'll be visiting, or if it will be cold, etc. There's no point in packing a sundress when it will be overcast and rainy! If you check the weather first, you won't need to go and buy a new raincoat if you wind up someplace rainy!

When are the best months to travel to Western Europe?

The best months to enjoy the beauty of the United Kingdom are from May to early October. It can be cold and rainy during these months, but it is also the best time for a burst of summer sunshine and no rain may fall for weeks if you are really lucky. The southern part of the country is generally much warmer and drier than the northern counties and Scotland. School holidays are from mid-July to early September. During this time most families take a break and head for the coast. Tourist attractions, theme parks and cities such as London are all at their busiest. This means that hotels and travel is full-price. Outside these 6 weeks, deals may be offered including discounted accommodation and entrance fees. Eire is known as the Emerald Isle which is due to the heavy rainfall it gets all year round so go prepared for some rainy days with waterproof clothing.
