Want to take a bike ride around Montreal, but didn't exactly pack a bicycle in your suitcase? Give Bixi a try. It's a public bike-rental system with rent/dock stations all over the city. You use your credit card to pay for a bike rental (only $5 for a 24-hour pass), and just go biking.

Return the bike to any of the Bixi stations, and lock it back in the dock so the system knows you've returned the bike. It's really pretty simple, and can be a cheap yet fun way to see some of the sights in Montreal.
