If you don't want to deal with the hassle of dragging your luggage to the airport, waiting around to check it in, and then waiting around even longer at baggage claim once you've arrived at your destination, then consider using a luggage delivery service.

Companies like LuggageFree will pick up your luggage from your door and send it to your hotel, your aunt's house, your cruise ship, or wherever your final destination may be.

These services don't come cheaply, however. LuggageFree charges by the pound, starting at $110 for luggage shipping within the US and $250 for international luggage delivery. Therefore luggage delivery services are really only accessible to business travelers or those with more than a few spare pennies.
