When shopping in the USA, you will find that tax on many goods such as clothing, household goods, souvenirs and meals will be added at the cash register.

In the UK, sales tax is much higher, but it is already included in the prices on display, so you will not have a nasty shock when you pay. In the UK, the price you see is the price you pay.
