Adventureland Park, Inn & Campground is open from mid-May to mid-August (and on weekends during the first part of May, last part of August, and all of September)
The Park is located just off of Interstate I-80, on Exit 142A.
You won't find any cartoon characters here, such as are in place at Disney World, or Kings Dominion which has the Nickelodeon franchise. You will find lots of fun though - fun rides, fun events, and great facilities for camping.
Thrill rides include the Splashover - in which rides take a spin through a human washing machine, the Sidewinder, which combines the best of spinning and swinging, and the Tornado, a wooden rollercoaster that has been a fixture at Adventureland for 30 years.
Family rides include Kokomo Kove, which has 7 water slides, a Sky Ride and a Log Flume to name only three.
Kiddie rides include a variety of carousels and tiny boats.
And of course you can't walk through the park without coming across the delicious aromas of all types of food.
A fun time will be had by all!
And if you don't feel like camping, stay at the Adventureland Inn, newly expanded inside and out, which offers free trolley service to the park.
